David A. Barber
David started hanging out in the Colorado Music scene when he turned 21. He got addicted to live music and never stopped going out to bars to hear bands. (This was over 3 decades ago) In 1997, he started building websites. In 1998 he quit his full time day job to devote himself to working in the music community. In 1999 David helped found the Colorado Music Association (a.k.a. COMBO – Colorado Music Business Organization), served on it’s Board of Directors for the next 3 years eventually becoming President for a year. Following a decade of working in various local music venues, David has transitioned to the role of concert photographer shooting all over town at local venues as well as Red Rocks, Mission Ballroom, and Fillmore Auditorium, culminating in shooting Bruce Springsteen at Coors Field in the Summer of 2019.
A few of David’s additional achievements include:
- Author of: Gigging, Everything You Need To Know About Playing Gigs (Except how to play your axe)
- Co-Producer of Band Talk, weekly radio show on Indie104.com (Jan 2014 – March 2017)
- Serving on the Nominating Committee for the Westword Music Awards Showcase every year since 1998.
- Being on the CHUN Capitol Hill People’s Fair Entertainment Committee every year from 1998 – 2015.
- Continued service on Board of Directors of Colorado Music Business Organization (COMBO)
- Worked for ten years at various Denver area music venues
- Photographer and Photo Editor for RockOnColorado.com and FEMMUSIC.com

Tommy Nahulu
Tommy Nahulu was instrumental in getting RockOnColorado.com off the ground.
His tireless efforts in the Denver music community helped propel ROC to it’s current level of success.
He has since moved on.
