10, the appropriately named tenth release frim Chris Daniels & the Kings proves that some things just keep getting better. Blues, soul and groove all wrapped up in another cool CD package from Gregg Carr. Song titles like “Soul Mine” and “Bluz Cruz” say it all. The disk is loaded with blues standards like: “Who’s Makin’ Love” (to your old lady). Hazel Miller adds some vocals on on “Just Give Me What Ya Got.” The production qualities are top notch to match the perfomances. Overall, a wonderful compilation of blues and soul standards.
